Abdullah Rushdy is no stranger to controversial takes; the ex-Azhar Imam is widely known for his extreme female-centric beliefs and criticism of the feminist movement.
On multiple occasions, Rushdy has been accused of having extreme beliefs that do not align with modern-day ideologies; ideologies that promote harassment against women, and sometimes render them as inferior beings.
