Cairo, also, reiterated its warning of the dangers of the region sliding into further chaos and tension. It affirmed that political solutions and diplomatic negotiations, not military action, are the only path toward resolving the crisis and achieving a lasting settlement.

⚠️ The Sayes Job is Now Official…And It’s Sparking Online Backlash!
Cairo has just made a significant change in its parking management system. The city has officially introduced a new uniform and formalized the role of parking attendants, also known as “sayes,” working in licensed public parking spaces across the capital.
This move is part of a broader effort to regulate the parking sector and make it more transparent, but it’s already attracting plenty of attention and, unsurprisingly, sparking online backlash.
The sayes job, which was once an informal position, is now officially recognized by the government. This means that all parking attendants in Cairo will be required to wear a standardized uniform, ensuring that they are licensed and easily identifiable.
The uniform, which features a light blue jacket matching Cairo’s city logo, includes a badge with important details such as the district, area, parking lot, and even the company managing the lot.
A key feature of the new uniform is the inclusion of a QR code, which citizens can scan with their smartphones.
This code will provide a wealth of information, such as the parking rates, the name of the attendant, the legal representative of the company, and other necessary details like the company’s registration and the location’s authorized parking rates.
This effort aims to reduce the risk of fraud, ensuring that parking attendants are working within legal boundaries and following official rules.
While the new system is hailed as a step toward transparency, it’s the parking fees that have caught people’s attention.
According to the new regulations, parking attendants will charge 10 EGP for the first hour of parking, and 7 EGP for the subsequent hours.
This pricing structure has already sparked online debates, with many questioning whether the rates are fair or too high, particularly in a city where traffic congestion and parking are already daily struggles for most citizens and most park in the streets
