šMustafa Hosnyās Ramadan Lessons Are Causing A Stir Over Mixed Seating!
Ramadan is often a time for reflection, spiritual growth, and the sharing of wisdom. For many, Mustafa Hosnyās Ramadan lessons have become a familiar and cherished tradition.
Known for his deep and meaningful reflections on faith and life, his lessons typically occur in private homes or community centers, where people gather to listen and learn.
However, this year, one of Mustafa Hosnyās Ramadan lessons sparked a debate that has caught the attention of manyāand it wasnāt his words that got people talking, but rather the setting and the format of the lesson itself.
The lesson in question took place in a mosque, a religious setting that has traditionally been reserved for prayer, worship, and reflection. However, this time, the gathering was different.
The seating arrangement was mixed, with men and women sitting together. This departure from the usual norms of gender separation in mosques became the focal point of the conversation, with many people voicing strong opinions about the appropriateness of such an arrangement.
Itās customary for men and women to be seated separatelyā¦
In many religious settings, particularly in mosques, it is customary for men and women to be seated separately. This practice has been in place for centuries and is often seen as a way to maintain focus and preserve the sanctity of prayer and religious gatherings.
As a result, the sight of mixed seating in a mosque for a lessonāespecially during the holy month of Ramadanāraised eyebrows and sparked controversy.
Some people felt that holding such a gathering in a mosque with mixed seating was disrespectful, undermining the sacredness of the space. For them, the decision to blur the lines of traditional gender separation in a religious setting was seen as crossing a boundary that should not be tested, especially in the presence of such deep spiritual significance.
But others saw the mixed seating arrangement as perfectly acceptable. For them, the idea of a mixed-gender setting in a mosque was not only normal but also a step towards modernizing how we engage with religious teachings.
Misunderstanding or Disrespectful?

š°š¬EGP 16K for a Box of Kahk?! This Yearās Prices Are Breaking RecordsāAnd Wallets!
This yearās box of Kahk might break the bank this Eid!
Ramadan is wrapping up, and you know what that meansākahk season is officially here! But this year, something other than powdered sugar is leaving a mark⦠the price tags!
Word on the street (and all over social media) is that one luxury bakery has priced a single box of kahk at a jaw-dropping EGP 16,000! While this might be an extreme case, thereās no denying that kahk prices have skyrocketed across the board. On average, a decent box will now set you back anywhere between EGP 800 to EGP 2,500āand letās be honest, thatās enough to make anyone second-guess their sweet tooth!
Inflation has undoubtedly played a role, but people canāt help but poke fun at how kahk is turning into a luxury item. Social media reactions have been golden, with memes comparing kahk to designer handbags and tweets joking that families might need a payment plan just to afford their holiday treats this year.
Despite the hefty price tags, one thing is for sureākahk is a non-negotiable part of Eid. Whether youāre splurging on the fancy stuff or sticking to a good old homemade batch, the tradition (and the sugar rush) lives on!
What do you thinkāwould you ever pay that much for a box of kahk, or are you dusting off grandmaās recipe instead?
