TikTok Given 90-Day Ultimatum by Egyptian Parliament

  • The Egyptian Parliament has issued a 90-day warning to TikTok, demanding that the platform align its content with Egypt’s cultural and moral standards. The decision followed a joint meeting between members of Parliament, the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), and representatives from TikTok’s regional office.

  • According to official statements, the move comes in response to increasing public concern over content on the platform that some authorities consider inappropriate or inconsistent with Egyptian values.

  • TikTok has been asked to present a plan within the 3-month timeframe detailing how it will address these concerns, including improved content moderation and adherence to local regulations.

  • The NTRA is expected to oversee the process and evaluate TikTok’s compliance. No immediate ban has been issued, but authorities confirmed that further actions may be taken based on the platform’s response during this period.

TikTok has not yet released a public statement regarding the 90-day notice.

6 Tiktokers Arrested! A New Trend No One Signed Up For

  • Actress Rahma Hassan recently revealed the real reason behind her severe hair loss — and it all traces back to a clinic visit gone wrong. Her story quickly gained traction online, sparking a wave of reactions.

  • In a wave of incidents that have shocked both followers and the general public, six TikTokers were arrested for a variety of offenses ranging from inappropriate content to serious criminal activities.

Here’s everything you need to know about the recent arrests and the reactions that followed.

  • According to the Ministry of Interior, one of the arrests involved TikToker Modahem. The influencer was apprehended for sharing videos that contained inappropriate language, violating social media norms.

  • But that’s not all. Upon further investigation, authorities found him in possession of a large sum of cash, gold jewelry, and a stash of drugs, including hashish and opium.

  • After the wave of arrests, another well-known TikToker, Mohamed Shaker, took to his platform to address the situation.

Going live on TikTok, he defended his content, claiming that it had never hurt anyone and that his followers knew him for being appropriate and respectful.

  • However, shortly after his live stream, news began circulating that Shaker himself had been arrested. The charges were serious: “for assaulting family values and misusing social media”.

  • Authorities also discovered that Shaker was in possession of an unlicensed firearm, alongside a significant amount of drugs, including hashish and methamphetamine (known locally as “Ice”). Shaker, along with his manager, admitted to having the drugs for personal use.

CELEB NEWS

Rahma Hassan Revealed The Shocking Reason Behind Her Hair Loss!

  • Rahma sought help for her already weak, thinning hair at a well-known clinic in Zamalek. After running blood tests, the clinic assured her that everything looked fine and recommended a simple treatment.

But things didn’t go as planned.

Instead of the discussed procedure, she says the doctor gave her a mix of supplements — without her consent.

Among them was Minoxidil, a clinically approved drug for hair growth. She only learned about the inclusion of the drug when it appeared on her bill.

  • Unexpected Side Effects — and Hair Loss Gets Worse

Following the visit, Rahma began experiencing alarming symptoms. Her heart would race, her head felt heavy, and her hair started falling out at a much faster rate. New hair barely grew back.

Feeling both physically and emotionally drained, Rahma posted a close-up photo of her visibly thinning hair and shared her story publicly.

  • Speaking Out — and Refusing to Stay Silent

In her post, she made it clear: if any product or place harms her again, she won’t keep quiet. No more letting it go.

Many sympathized with her experience, encouraging her to take legal action.
