• What was supposed to be a night of celebration and entertainment at the Baron Palace in Cairo quickly turned into a chaotic and tragic scene.

  The spotlight that should have been on Tamer Hosny’s anticipated performance shifted dramatically when a massive metal lighting stand collapsed, injuring over 15 people. The shocking incident has sparked outrage, confusion, and a flood of discussions online.

• The incident occurred during a medical conference at the iconic Baron Palace on April 26th, just moments before Tamer Hosny was scheduled to take the stage.

• A massive 4-meter-high, 40-meter-wide lighting rig suddenly gave way, crashing down onto a part of the crowd gathered in the garden area. The sheer size and weight of the structure made the impact devastating, and the scene quickly became one of panic and chaos.

• With the lights dimming and confusion spreading, the venue’s security and medical teams rushed to the scene. Emergency responders worked quickly to assist the injured, and an investigation was launched immediately to determine the cause of the collapse.
